President

Paul Carrio, Ph.D.

Dr. Paul Carrio will lead the board as our President. Dr. Carrio has a son with Asperger’s syndrome, and through his perseverance, has helped his son integrate into society. Furthermore Dr. Carrio is equipped with a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, a Master of Science, in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management.


Dr. Carrio has served as Campus Dean, Regional Dean and Campus President at local universities and has expertise in educational and learning research/resources.

Director of Strategic Planning

Michael T. Hanners, J.D.

Dr. Michael T. Hanners, Director of Strategic Planning, is responsible for working with Dr. Carrio to launch initiatives designed to impact how the autistic community is trained and inculcated into society. Dr. Hanners is professionally trained as an attorney and he has served as a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida. His focus over the past dozen years has been in legal education and training. Dr. Hanners has often had students in his class who have shared challenges as parents with an autistic child.


He is looking forward to positively impacting the autistic community/stakeholders on a more personal level at All About Autistic Abilities, Inc. Dr. Hanners earned his law degree in 1992 from Florida State University and has recently added a Master of Science in Management (M.S.M.). His more than 20 years of legal experience, both in the classroom teaching and in private practice, lends a sound and experienced perspective to help guide the leadership team at All About Autistic Abilities, Inc.

Treasurer

Grace NG, CPA

Grace Ng will serve as the treasurer for All About Autistic Abilities, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy, with highest honors, from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and has spent over 13 years developing her managerial career with a Big 4 accounting firm, Ernst & Young and subsequently continues her profession in a multinational company. Grace has several close friends who have children with the autism spectrum disorder and she has seen the challenges the families face daily, thus providing her with the motivation to make a personal contribution. Grace has been actively involved in community services projects from her high school and college days. She has served as treasurer for The Interact Club and has served through the Welfare Services Club as a mentor to delinquent youth.


It is her conviction to support All About Autistic Abilities, Inc. in its vision to advance “autism spectrum disorder” awareness and to meaningfully impact and change the perception of individuals in the communities. Grace’s aim is to dispel the any preconceive dnotions that the members of the autistic community have limited abilities to perform a given task well.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Lara Adams

Lara Adams is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Lara has been certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) since 1996 and has maintained a Professional License in Georgia since 1998. Wholly focusing on the child, Lara thoroughly enjoys working with children and their families to help each child develop to their fullest potential.


Lara has worked with children of all ages in both clinic and home settings. They have ranged in age from newborns to teenagers who have faced many challenges due to a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Micro-prematurity, Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorders. Lara’s personal conviction is in helping children learn life skills so they can thrive and contribute to society.
